art workshops

We offer workshops that reimagine the nose as a tool for empowerment and connection through storytelling, art, and play. Each offering shifts as we collaborate with new organizations.

Our most recent workshop, a four-part bilingual series (English/Spanish), blended hand-sewing and sculpting to guide participants in creating fabric nose sculptures. In honoring the nose, community members reconnected with their bodies as sources of wisdom, laughter, and expression.

By Word of Nose workshops have been presented independently and in partnership with organizations such as Unlocal, where the program was co-facilitated by Kat Geng-Caraballo and curator Eva Mayhabal Davis, with support from LMCC.

If you’re interested in bringing a workshop to your community, please email bywordofnose@gmail.com.
